The journal Nature was first published in 1869. It soon established itself as the pre-eminent interdisciplinary scientific publication in the world, and went on to become the first publisher of landmark findings such as the wave nature of particles, nuclear fission, the structure of DNA, and the cloning of Dolly the sheep. By 2010 it had become the most cited scientific journal in the world.
In short, it has an almost 150 year history of top-rate, quality content that incites thoughtful, cogent discourse... until today, when it published one of my short stories.
